In maintaining a completely level playing field, Kolab Systems has designed an enterprise community built upon fairness. The Kolab Enterprise Community is designed so that all participants can be profitable and have an equal say in the future of Kolab.

The Kolab Enterprise community is the network of professionals deploying, supporting and developing Kolab. This community is designed to maximise profitability for participants with maximal support, backed by Kolab Systems, for end users. To achieve this, the Kolab Enterprise Community has no financial barrier to entry and provides mechanisms for protecting members profitability: lead protection, referral revenue and a variety of support options from Kolab Systems.

The Kolab Systems partners are the frontline of support for Kolab and well placed to communicate the needs of Kolab users. Therefore Kolab Systems provides support mechanisms for ensuring an efficient flow of information between partners: a partner Kolab deployment for coordination, Jabber server for real-time communication and Bugzilla for issue tracking. In addition to this, Kolab Systems organises an annual partner summit; it provides a round-table environment for exchange of best practice and discussion of the needs and future of the Kolab Groupware Solution.

Kolab Systems provides the enterprise community with a range of support backends to meet the needs of individual clients. This choice of service agreements affords the partner the ability to choose the support arrangement that is right for them and their client. Whilst partners will always provide first-line support to their clients, Kolab Systems can provide a variety of packages for second-line and/or third-line support. In addition to this, Kolab Systems will also provide training materials and, where appropriate, access to sales staff in order to support Kolab partners in closing leads.

In order to maximise the impact of marketing, Kolab Systems will provide free access to its promotional materials for its partners. In addition to this, Kolab Systems will also promote its partners through its website, creating a central location where potential clients can find a Kolab  partner near them. Kolab Systems will also offer its partners opportunities for joint marketing campaigns and events, such as the provision of space or speaking opportunities at conferences.
