Certified Kolab

Certified Kolab is the primary offering of Kolab Systems geared towards the needs of all users of the Kolab Groupware Solution through a flexible set of Service Level Agreements (SLA). Certified Kolab is the Kolab Groupware Solution with professional testing, quality assurance, warranties and integration - including the full freedom and flexibility to the user also provided by the community edition. All offers of Certified Kolab include

  • Access to one Certified Kolab packaging stream of your choice for one of the supported platforms, including updates for three years;
  • A Service Level Agreement of your choice, valid for one year without automatic renewals;

Service Level Agreements

Besides providing consultancy services for entirely self-supported installations, Kolab Systems provides a set of different Service Level Agreements (SLA) as part of its Certified Kolab offering. These SLA are designed to match a variety of needs from installations that are almost entirely self-supported by the customer, to fullest support with very short response times for large mission-critical installallations. Customers have a wide range of options to choose from:

  • guaranteed response times between 72 hours and 1 hour based on your SLA;
  • support via web page, email, or phone (for some SLA);
  • best reasonable effort override priority resolution of all incidents classified as critical by Kolab Systems support staff, e.g. security hot-fixes;
  • 24/7 response available to Kolab Plus Premium Support customers;
  • different levels of corporate excess or full coverage of functional issues;
  • rebates on feature requests;
  • better rates on support outside the covered scope;

Kolab Certified ProfessionalKolab Training & Certification

Training for Kolab administrators, support engineers or users either directly or through partners. Successful training or independently gained knowledge can be certified in one of the three levels of Kolab Certification:

  • Certified Kolab Professional
    For IT professionals working at a partner, customer or independently to deploy Kolab Groupware Solutions that are optimized to a particular customer's needs.Certified Support Engineer
  • Certified Kolab Support Engineer
    For first level support personnel and in-house support desk staff. Includes user Certified Kolab User certification.
  • Certified Kolab User
    For users of the Kolab Groupware Solution. Tests basic knowledge about various Kolab Groupware Clients and best practice work-flows, among others.
